Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them {review}

remember how i am a book nerd and especially love the fantasy books.. yea well you can probably guess that it would only make sense that i was so excited to see the new "Harry Potter" movie, even though he isn't even in the movie and it technically isn't even about him..

i went with my friend, who is maybe even a bigger Harry Potter nerd than i am, and we seriously loved it!
i have heard some complaints that it was slow or not as interesting as the hp movies, but i think thats how it was supposed to be. this isn't Harry Potter, this before that time, so no wonder it was a bit slower and different. however, in my opinion, i still think it was awesome, it had the right amount of comedy to coincide with the serious aspect of it. but it was also so very magical, everything about it brought me back to first reading about Harry Potter and being introduced to the magical word of witchcraft and wizardry. even just the soundtrack that played during the movie brought me so much joy. i am such a sucker for that, and i don't think anyone or anything will ever be able to compare to J.K. Rowling's infamous story.

not to mention, i loved all of the actors! they did such an amazing job casting the roles, i mean Eddy Redmayne and Jonny Depp in the same movie! this is going to be a fantastic series (see what i did there;) ), because in case you hadn't heard, there will be five total installments in this series and i couldn't be happier! in a way, the end of the Harry Potter series was the end of an era, but now with these installments, us nerd have something to look forward to gain.

so for those of you that could care less about Harry Potter and his wonderful world of happiness, i suggest learning to love it, because it is not going anywhere!

sincerely,
allyson
