i dont sweat i glisten

anyone who knows me at all knows that i have a serious shopping addiction. i honestly cant go two weeks without buying something. but what can i say, i have an unquenchable thirst for all things cute and in style. which doesn't make sense to me half of the time, because i never bother to get dressed up. i mean ill dress up for church and the occasional get together with friends, but lets face it all i ever want to wear is my workout clothes. i mean i live in Arizona, the temperature never doesn't below 80 until winter is almost over. whats the point of getting all dressed up if I'm just going to sweat it off if i step outside?!
so with that being said, my new obsession in the shopping department is active wear. I'm surprised that I'm only just now getting so obsessed, at work i see all of these super in shape moms wearing the latest and greatest workout clothes from places like Lululemon, whose stuff i have to say is some of the best. but it is also some of the most pricey, which is why i have to save up money to even buy anything from there.
you would think me having just bought three new workout items i would be okay for the next week or two, but no, i am already dying to buy more!
I'm thinking my next purchase will either be from Lulu, cause as i said i have been saving up to get a few things, or one of the online sites i have found. {these include Ellie , Albion Fit , AyAYAy }

for the benefit of all, including myself, here is a list of my favorite places to get workout clothes. starting from cheapest to Lulu prices:
1. Forever 21- they have a ton of things to choose from and most if not all of it is all under $20. personally i like their sports bras, they have enough support and are pretty cute at the same time.

2. American Eagle - if you have not already checked out their newest addition to the store, you should. their crop pants feel and look like Wunder Under crops from Lulu and are half the price. they also have really cute tops and bras, i just spent $60 hard earned dollars on a pair of crops, a tank top, and shorts and i couldn't be more pleased.
{They are currently having a 40% off the entire store sale right now, so i suggest going and checking it out. American Eagle}

3. Gap - i love everything about this store! their active wear is good quality and holds up to continuous use. my mom gets some of her stuff here, and it may not be crazy cute like the stuff from Lulu but its still really good. if you are going for the basic workout tee and crop pants then this may be the store for you.

4. Nordstrom -  they have a separate department that specializes in all things sweaty. they even have their own yoga brand, Zella, which is basically the same thing as Lulu. the price is a little less but the thing is, at a department store, things can go on sale. at Lululemon, the only sales they have aren't sales at all, its more like things they need to get rid of so they can bring in a new shipment. so the prices are only slightly cheaper, not by much though.

5. Lucy/Lululemon - the reason i put these two together, is because in pricing and quality they are completely the same. however, i have found that Lucy is a better fit for women who are more modest in their choice of attire.

hopefully, i have enlightened you so much that you get the urge to jump up from where you are and go shopping....nahh.. I'm just kidding, if you can abstain from spending your money i highly recommend it! i wish i had the will to do so, but i don't.. so i don't.. i shop to my hearts desire, well as much as my wallet will allow.

until next time,
XOXO
Allyson
