Sunday in Ireland

we decided before even leaving on our trip that we wanted to find a church to go to while in Ireland. little did we know, it would take us two hours to find the meeting place! since the ward has so few people, they have no need for an actual ward building, so they meet in different places that they rent out. this one just so happened to not have a street address, which led us to believe it was the wrong one.
long story short, we wandered around the streets of Ireland asking everyone we could if they knew where the Mormon church met. and no one did.

we took this picture after we had attended the last hour of church, had this picture been taken before we went in, i would have looked much different!

for the rest of the day, we just drove around the countryside and visited a few places.
as maroon 5 would say, "sunday morning, rain is falling'." and it was, but it was more of a light drizzle. that honestly was my favorite day, everything about it was just a fun and relaxing day. just like vacations should be!

oh.my.gosh. there were sheep everywhere!

in most of the pictures where we used a self timer, one of us is doing something weird.

(Kali wanted to get closer to the sheep but there was poo everywhere!)

we found this little driveway as we were driving to this castle near the Dingle Peninsula. it was such a pretty sight that we decided to pull over and take pictures!

after taking these pictures we deiced that we should probably change. so we did. right there on the side of the road. oops...

i regret nothing.

Minard Castle
unfortunately we couldn't get very close to it because of how unstable the building is, but it was cool to see the oceanside like this. it was also sprinkling throughout the entire day, which made being outside kind of difficult.
but driving in Ireland is like nothing else. everything is so green, and the roads are so narrow it feels like you are going to crash whenever you come across another car!
but it was just so fun,
Ireland is definitely one of the places you must visit in your lifetime if you can. you won't regret it!
