cruisin'

the past week i went on vacation with Daytons family (this is something they do every year as their christmas present to their kids) where we went on a weeklong cruise to the western caribbean islands (st, thomaas, barbados, st. kitts, st. lucia and st. maarten)
we all had so much fun and i feel so lucky to be marring into such an incredible and fun family.
the thing i love about cruises is that everything is basically planned out and all you have to do is show up and relax. i especially love the food, i love that there are so many options and that you are given the chance to try things you wouldn't otherwise try.
this has been my third cruise and on all three i have been to caribbean islands and i couldn't imagine it otherwise. i love the clear waters and white beaches that are located here and i love being able to just relax and be in the sun.
(if anyone is wondering how i did this because of my accutane, i will tell you. before leaving on the trip i asked my dr. and he suggested just not taking the medicine while there as to ensure that my skin wouldn't burn easily and i would have any reactions to it. he also assured me that in doing this it wouldn't mess my progress up at all, and honestly i don't feel like it did. my skin even looks clearer right now, and i give all credit of that to the well needed sunshine i received,  but i would make sure to ask your dr. if this is something you can do if you ever need to.)

so unfortunately i didn't get too many pictures with me in them, i actually didn't get that many pictures in general, at least not as many as i normally take. but i think i enjoyed this because i was really able to enjoy what i was doing and who i was with.

with that being said, here are the majority of the pictures i took
enjoy!

these are from our first day on the cruise in St. Thomas.
this was one of my favorite beaches we visited, the water was so blue and calm and it was perfect outside!

(this one was taken in Barbados)

(Pinel island, St. Maarten.)

(the soft serve ice cream was probably one of my favorite parts of the trip..oops)

(St. Maarten)
** also make sure you are darker than your swim suit or everyone will think you are topless...

dayton took this of me and i am actually quite proud of him for it.

these are all pictures from our last day, since our cruise docked out of San Juan, Puerto Rico, we were able to roam around the city for a bit before we had to fly back home. the building here are seriously so pretty and infused with so much culture. if you ever get the chance to go visit old San Juan. do it, you will not regret it!
