mayer is back

In honor of John Mayers birthday this week, I want to share my thoughts if his new album Paradise Valley. So here I go:

I absolutely loved all of the songs on the album. I can't even seem to pick a favorite. They all have different things about them that are great. Paradise Valley has a new, almost country feel to it. I think that is due to his new life in Montana. The years he has spent there have done wonders on him and it really shines through in his music. I encourage everyone to listen to this album, there will be at least one song that relates you and I guarantee you will not regret it! 

For the first month after the album came out, it was all I listened to. Even now, the majority of my music is John Mayer. He has a song for every one of my moods. And unlike the music that is trending right now, JM's music isn't provocative and doesn't doesn't include a lot of foul language.  All of his music is insightful and upbeat. Cliche, I know, but my all time favorite JM song is Gravity. If you haven't listened to it, do it! It is a wonderfully written song and the guitar solos are just as great!

Lucky for me, his Born and Raised tour was visiting Arizona and I had to chance to go to it! It was my first ever concert and I had the best time! I knew every single one of his songs and I sang my heart out! Next time I will definitely have seats closer to him:)

They are kind of bad quality but what do you expect. They were taken on a phone in the dark! And just FYI I was freezing out! I had been looking forward to this night all summer and when he finally came on stage I lost it! 

John Mayer will forever be my all time favorite artist. As long as he keeps making music. I will be a happy lady!
